Blue Demons win Babe Ruth World Series
Congratulations to Fred Kreuder '77 as coach of the first Long Island team to ever win the Babe Ruth World Series in the 13-15 year old age bracket.  In recognition of the Blue Demons victory, a team jersey and hat will be on display at the National Baseball Hall of Fame for one year.   
 
State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8th Senate District) and Assemblyman David G. McDonough (19th Assembly District) congratulated the coaches and players from the Long Island Blue Demons.  See link:  http://www.senatorfuschillo.com/press_archive_story.asp?id=18015

 

SongRamp Artist of the Month

Nominees to Board
Moving forward with its goal to diversify the Alumni Association Board with representation from various graduating classes, Jerry Galligan '77 and Tom Grech '80 will be nominated as additional Directors in 2007. In addition, it is proposed that Jerry be nominated to serve as President to form and chair the 2007 Reunion Committee.

St Pius X Residence
Fr. Tom Mulvanerty, Director of the St Pius X Residence, is trying to coordinate some possible Saturday evenings in February/March to invite a small group of alumni to St Pius X to visit and join the residents for dinner.  Alumni will be notified of any plans.          

Radio Program
Tune in to Deacon Kevin McCormack '78 and Rabbi Joseph Potasnik who now co-host "Religion on the Line" heard on 77WABC on Sundays from 7:30am to 10:00am.
